9-10 Year Old All-Star Tournament

Well, baseball is over for the 9-10 year olds. Our tournament was over quickly with a loss to Covington County, and finally to Opp. So sad to see the season end, but what a great time we had. Here are some other pics of the 9-10 year old All-Stars.

There is nothing in the world better than watching my boys play ball...WE LOVE IT!

Great Job Taylor! We looooooove you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ALL-STAR PRACTICE!

I think I mentioned that Hunter and Taylor BOTH made All-Stars this year. So we have been at the ballpark every night of the week for about 3 hours. It's been fun, and they've both done a great job. Here are some of the pictures I've taken.

By the way, Taylor's All-Star Tournament is tonight in Opp. I'll be posting the results as they play. Hunter's is next weekend.

Here are some pictures of Hunter. There is a feature on my camera that will take 3 action shots in a row and I used it some while taking photos of Hunter at practice. Here's the result...
Dalton Moore's mom, Tiffany, provided breakfast for the boys after their Saturday morning practice (today). This is Hunter, Brayden, and Cal. By the way, gross Hunter. He did that on purpose, of course.

Hunter's Travel Ball Adventures!

Hunter once again played on a travel baseball team. This year he play for the 11 year old team. Otherwise known as 11 and unders. He was one of the oldest 11 year olds on the team and was a great leader. We were so proud. He did a lot of pitching this year and did a GREAT job. Here are some pictures from our Dothan tournament the first weekend in June.
You cannot accuse Hunter of not watching the ball :)
This is Hunter with his buddies, Ashton and Colton Elmore. We call them the TWIN TOWERS.

Summer Baseball!

One place my family spends PLENTY of time is the ball park. Hunter and Taylor played in different age groups this year, which means we had 4 nights a week of baseball beginning in March. So, if we weren't home, we were at school, church or the ballpark. You could just about bet on it. Taylor played for the Cardinals. He played short stop and pitched. They came in 2nd in the league and we were soooo proud of how much he has improved over the last year. He fielded balls, tagged runners out going to third, tagged runners out that were trying to steal 2nd base, caught pop-ups, and much, much more. Not to mention that his hitting was GREAT this year. He hit several doubles and some triples. Getting on base was not a problem this year, last year he struggled a little with hitting since it was his first year in the kid-pitch league. This year he wasn't scared and got out there and made me and his dad sooooo proud. Here are a few pics from the season.

Now Taylor has made All-Stars and I'll be posting some pictures very soon. They have practice every night, so photo opportunities are not a problem. We are very excited and wish the 9-10 year old Andalusia Bulldogs the best of luck in the tournament!

Daddy and the Boys' Day

A couple of weekends ago, the boys and Brian went to his families' land in Butler County and Brian took them to see "the falls". They had such a good time riding four wheelers and hunting squirrel that evening. Here are some pics from their trip.

11 Year Old Travel ball

We had our first day of a travel ball tournament today. Hunter had a game at 10:30 and another at 12:30. They lost both, which didn't really surprise us, but the boys had a good time playing ball. I selected a few pics from our Navarre trip today to share with everyone. The first are of Hunter's team and him warming up pitching (which he did beautifully, by the way!)

After the game, me, Brian and the boys grabbed a bite to eat and Taylor couldn't resist the beach across the street. So we drove across the road to a random spot that had a beat up, rusty boat and let the boys play around for a while...baseball uniform and all. It was very spur of the moment, which is literally the story of our lives. Here are some pics from us messing around on the beach after the game.
They were both biting thier lip in the picture below...how weird.

Taylor was making a big deal about me getting his picture while the boat was going by behind him.
These are the loves of my LIFE!

Taylor still just loves the simplicity of playing in the sand...LOVES IT!
Can anyone tell me how to flip this photo up right?
